Certified Wireless Technician (CWT) prepares learners to install access points (APs) based on a design document, configure APs for initial operations, and ensure connectivity. The course covers troubleshooting of basic problems, and configuring WLAN clients for connectivity, including the configuration process for SSIDs, security settings, and other client adapter settings.

The CWT certification is an entry-level WLAN certification from the vendor-neutral CWNP organization, and this course prepares learners to take the CWT-101 exam. The primary knowledge domains are basic RF hardware and functions, 802.11 features and functions, wireless LAN hardware and software, and understanding organizational goals.
