This course covers the hands-on skills necessary for data professionals who facilitate business decisions based on data; mine, manipulate, visualize, and report data; apply statistics to business decisions; and analyze complex data sets, all while meeting specified quality and governance standards as they apply to the data life cycle. The course prepares learners to pass the CompTIA Data+ certification exam (DA0-001).
Topics include general database concepts, an overview of the data analytics process and techniques, understanding data types and data structures, data-mining concepts and process, data analysis and its tools, statistical analysis methods and techniques, data analysis tools and machine learning, business requirements, reporting and visualizing data, and data governance and management.
